

Zahari Nanov
Geologist
Zahari is part of Murgana (MGC) from mid-2016. He holds a BSc degree in geology and an MSc degree in structural geology from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Zahari is a PhD candidate and his work is related to the structural evolution of the greenschist basement of Zlatishka and Etropolska Stara planina Mountain, Bulgaria. He has a two year experience in planning and execution of exploration projects (that includes geological and structural mapping, soil and rock sampling, trenching, drill-hole managing and core-logging and the interpretation and modelling of the gathered geological information). His main interests are focused on the exploration geology and in particular on the structural control on mineralisation in different type ore deposits. In addition, Zahari is skilled in working with GIS software and has interests in, geochemistry, geostatistics and geophysics which is of a great value for the modern, multidisciplinary exploration techniques applied by MGC.
