Tsvetelina Gorinova, MSc

Tsvetelina joined MGC in the summer of 2016. She holds a PhD in structural geology and tectonics from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” with her thesis focused on the evolution of the metamorphic rocks from the Rhodope section of the Alpine Orogen. Her main interests are in geological mapping, structural data interpretation, metamorphic petrography and petrology, U-Pb geochronology. She is skilled in thermodynamic modelling of metamorphic rocks and sampling preparation procedures. She is experienced in mine-scale open pit field exploration and geotechnical studies as well as in geological, geotechnical and mineralogical studies of drill-cores. Tsvetelina has experience in geological and structural exploration mapping, soil and rock sampling and data interpretation as well as in designing, monitoring and managing drill core sampling campaigns (geochemistry and physical-mechanical properties analyses).
