Ivan Krumov, Geologist (MSc)

Ivan joined MGC in the autumn of 2013. He holds a BSc in Geology (2009) and an MSc in Geochemistry (2016) from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. His main interests are focused on economic geology in general and on porphyry and epithermal systems in particular. One of his best qualities are the field recognition and distinguishing of different ore mineralisation and alteration types. Ivan`s main experience is in drill hole exploration program supervision, drill core logging and sampling, “Anaconda method“ bench mapping, geological data handling and 3D geological modelling. His background includes reporting, interpretation of different type of geological information and old data integration. He is able to lead practical courses and trainings in the field of geology and mineral exploration. In the last few years, he has specialized in geostatistical analysis and mineral resource estimation in accordance with International Reporting Codes (NI 43-101 and JORC). Ivan is a member of Society of Economic Geologists (SEG) since 2010.
